3.376MW·h Marine Energy Storage Container
Basic Information
The company’s independently developed, designed, and manufactured 20-foot energy storage container can store up to 3.376MW·h of electricity, meeting the highest international standards for both volumetric energy ratio and the weight energy ratio. It utilizes a standardized 1500A megawatt-class charging cable, enabling both output and input of up to MW of power through a single interface. The energy storage system is available in 1-, 2-, or 4-container configuration and suitable for powering electric cargo ships ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 tons. It can utilize off-peak electricity to store energy and provide cost-effective power for electric cargo ships, achieving a range of 150-250 kilometers on a single charge. The pure electric drive mode significantly reduces emissions and pollution, consuming no fuel throughout the entire voyage, and achieving zero emissions of carbon, sulfur, and other exhaust pollutants, as well as PM2.5 particles.

Certification
Bureau Veritas (BV) Certification
Product Features
- Long service life: the service life of marine energy storage battery pack is up to 8years, and the service life of supporting equipment is up to 10 years.
- Short charging time: Equipped with an external megawatt-level high-current charging and discharging interface, supporting charging and discharging currents up to 1500A, allowing a full charge in just 2 hours.
- Long discharge time: the discharge time of the storage container can reach 6-12 hours (depending on the ship’s displacement, driving power, and configuration combination of the energy storage container).
- High efficiency: The use of low internal resistance lithium iron phosphate batteries results in a charging and discharging efficiency of up to 92% for the energy storage system.
- Safe and reliable: The high-energy battery module adopts a fully sealed battery box and bidirectional silicone gel conduction heat dissipation technology. The external structure facilitates ventilation and heat dissipation, effectively isolating the battery from external air contact, thus preventing the conditions necessary for combustion. The refrigeration/heating system is automatically controlled through the temperature monitoring information of the BMS.
- Using the bi-directional balanced battery management system independently developed and produced by YH, the balanced current is up to 4A, which can balance the battery monomer with the maximum capacity deviation of 10%, greatly improving the battery life and effectively preventing the damage and unsafe factors caused by the battery overcharge and over-discharge.
- The highly integrated design of the high-voltage distribution box saves significant space compared to the current industry’s decentralized control approach, reduces the installation space required for the energy storage cabinet equipment compartment, and facilitates easier layout, installation, and daily maintenance.
